LOOP-MASTER PEDALS TRS ABCDY SELECTOR – EXPRESSION / STEREO / DUAL-CONTROL ROUTER

⠀
One TRS connection. Four destinations. Select A, B, C, D, or combine compatible destinations with Y.

The Loop-Master Pedals TRS ABCDY is a passive multi-purpose TRS routing box designed for expression pedals, stereo signals, dual-function controls, amp switching, modelers, synths, keyboards, and other TRS applications.

Unlike a standard mono selector, this version maintains both the Tip and Ring connections through the switching system.

⠀
WHAT IT DOES

• Routes one TRS connection to A, B, C, or D

• Y function allows multiple compatible destinations to be active simultaneously

• Maintains separate Tip and Ring connections

• Works with compatible expression, stereo audio, and dual-control signals

• Completely passive operation

• No power required

⠀
EXPRESSION PEDAL ROUTING

Use one expression pedal with up to four compatible pedals or processors.

Example:

Expression Pedal → TRS ABCDY

A → Delay

B → Reverb

C → Modulation

D → Pitch / Filter / Other Effect

Select the destination you want your expression pedal to control without unplugging and moving TRS cables around your pedalboard.

⠀
STEREO AUDIO ROUTING

The ABCDY can also be used with compatible TRS stereo signals.

Tip = Left

Ring = Right

Sleeve = Ground

This allows a stereo source to be routed between four stereo destinations or signal paths while keeping both channels together.

Useful for:

• Stereo pedalboards

• Stereo effects

• Modelers

• Synthesizers

• Keyboards

• Studio equipment

• Other compatible TRS stereo equipment

⠀
DUAL-CONTROL ROUTING

TRS connections are also commonly used to carry two separate control functions through one cable.

For example:

Tip = Channel

Ring = Reverb

or:

Tip = Switch 1

Ring = Switch 2

The ABCDY can route both control functions together to A, B, C, or D.

Useful with compatible:

• Amp footswitch systems

• External pedal controllers

• Modelers

• Loopers

• Multi-effects processors

• Auxiliary footswitch systems

⠀
Y MODE

Y mode allows multiple destinations to be connected simultaneously when the connected equipment permits it.

This can be useful for compatible audio and control applications and can potentially allow one expression pedal to affect multiple devices simultaneously.

IMPORTANT: Expression pedal inputs are not universally standardized. Some equipment supplies voltage through its expression jack, and those connections should not automatically be tied together.

Only use Y mode with expression inputs known to be electrically compatible.

⠀
REAL-WORLD USE

One Expression Pedal → Four Effects

Stereo Pedal → Four Stereo Signal Paths

Dual-Function TRS Controller → Four Compatible Devices

Amp Control → Four Selectable Control Destinations

Synth / Keyboard → Multiple TRS Routing Options

Modeler Controller → Four TRS Destinations

⠀
