Kauffmann ‘63 S 2020 - Aged sprite sparkle green

This Kauffmann Strat is a classic Strat with its Alder body and rosewood touch and also sounds like one. It does exactly that warm, Stratty thing we are all used to from a good Stratocaster.

The unique thing about this guitar is its fixed bridge. This gives it it’s own feel. This makes the overall playing experience more solid and rigid, which is very pleasant.

Tuning-stability wise this guitar also is a lot better than its immediate family with vibrato system.

A few modifications have been made. For example, I initially had the volume knob moved to where the first tone knob is normally located. Really makes a big difference if you keep accidentally turning down the volume while playing.

Secondly, there is an SD Little '59 in the guitar. I wanted to make it a more versatile guitar, and this pickup certainly cooperates. The guitar gets a thicker tone by adding this pickup. Internally, the necessary steps have also been done to make the humbucker and single coil pickups work well together. There’s also a series/parallel switch on the bridge pickup for single coil sounds and added versatility.

I can always reverse these mods at no extra cost if you would prefer the guitar that way.

This truly is a beautiful Strat. the 2nd and 4th positions sound very good. There is a great usable middle pickup sound (Stevie Ray!!!). Also a big sound on the bridge pickup. This guitar sounds really 'woody' which made me I immediately fall in love with it the moment I played it.
