The Case...

This guitar comes with an upgraded hardshell case - these originally shipped in a gig bag/soft travel case. I do not have the original gig bag, but a nice aftermarket Canadian (likely TKL-made) generic case. It shows typical usage/storage wear but is still in functional condition, just with cosmetic blemishes. Inside the case compartment sleeps the Fender Owners manual, ash tray bridge cover, extra mystery screw and vibrato bar arm.

The Guitar!

This instrument is in very good condition but is not perfect. There are considerable picking scratches on the pick guard when viewed in the light as well as a sticker shadow of an American flag by the pickups. On the back, when viewed in harsh lighting angles you can see some mild scratching/worming marks. The satin finish on the back of the neck has naturally been played into a semi-gloss. The first volume pot is most likely a replacement as it is not a CTS pot and appears to be a Long shaft rather than short shaft. Solder work looks different on it as well, but still professionally installed.

I didn't see any neck pocket cracks, HUGE finish chips/dings - just honest play wear with some mild scratches and picking wear. Great for a player who likes cleaner guitars but not for the collector who needs perfect. Frets are in great shape and show minimal wear.  

A personalized set up is encouraged upon arrival. It plays well with medium action right now - the neck might possibly need a shim block if you want it to go extra low, but there is still some downward adjustment available on most strings on the saddles, but not tons.
