History: Gibson began producing guitars in Japan in 1969, when the Epiphone branch was moved from the USA to the Matsumoku factory. The collaboration ended in the mid-1980s, after which Yamano Gakki picked up the thread again in 1988 with the production of Orville by Gibson. The name is a tribute to the brand's founder, Orville Gibson.
The serial number of this guitar tells us that this Les Paul was produced in April 1991 at the Terada factory in Japan. Originally, the guitars with a 'G' serial number were fitted with Gibson pickups. The guitar also has the traditional specifications that you would expect from a Les Paul.
This Orville by Custom Les Paul Custom from 1991 has playwear and dings on the body and neck, but is still in excellent condition. The guitar is equipped with original USA GIBSON PAF pickups.
