[Latin Percussion (LP) 60th Anniversary Model Bongos!]

For 60 years, Latin Percussion (LP) has been creating high-quality percussion instruments inspired by the legendary artists and music of mid-century Latin jazz.
At a time when many New York musicians couldn't easily get their hands on the Cuban drums they preferred, LP founder Martin Cohen collaborated with them to develop instruments tailored to their needs, and thus LP was born.

The LP60 Collection pays tribute to the original LP instruments and artists who shaped the future of Latin music, and forges lasting ties with the music community.
These commemorative instruments feature vintage characteristics, such as fiberglass bongos and congas, steel timbales with rolled-out bottoms, and new arrangements of LP originals like Afuche and Jam Brock.
Get your hands on the LP60 collection and ignite the inspiration, passion, and culture that drives the rhythmic pulse around the world.
