The STINGER 12 A G3 is driven by a highly efficient Class-D amplifier with an impressive 500 watts of continuous power. The specially developed 12” woofer and a BMS tweeter deliver deep bass and crisp, natural highs. The tweeter's waveguide was developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces reflections from floors and ceilings, prevents side peaks, and thus achieves controlled, homogeneous dispersion. Thanks to LD Systems' proprietary DynX DSP technology, the STINGER 12 A G3 delivers perfect performance with maximum clarity and assertiveness under all conditions. The signal processing of the crossover function and multiband limiter achieves optimal time alignment and the highest level of distortion-free operation. Designed as a true workhorse, the speaker's cabinet is constructed from robust birch plywood. With an extremely durable polyurea coating, it offers exceptional stability and longevity. Features include a steel front grille, dual-tilt stand mount, flying points, and ergonomic handles.
