The AKG C12 is a highly acclaimed and sought-after vintage tube condenser microphone, known for its exceptional sound quality and unique sonic characteristics. It's a large-diaphragm microphone featuring the legendary CK12 capsule. The original C12, produced in the 1950s, is considered a "holy grail" microphone by many. This is a unique early example in excellent condition.
This mic is in excellent condition and I have been the owner of it since 1988.
The sound is absolutely fantastic and unique.
Serious prospective buyers are, of course, welcome to try the microphone in person at our facility, Recordia Studios.
