Is the love you have for your guitar being strained by tuning problems?  Graph Tech your axe with BLACK TUSQ XL, the self-lubricating nut with tone, and rekindle your passion for playing!

·       Increase your sustain

·       Improve the tone of open notes

·       Eliminate tuning “ping!”

·       Stay in tune even with the hardest whammy use

One of the key causes of tuning frustration is string binding at the nut.BLACK TUSQ XL nuts alleviate the binding grip of the nut on the string and reduce friction between the nut material and the string.  As strings move across a BLACK TUSQ XL nut, they shear open microscopic “capsules” loaded with Teflon (PFTE) lubricant.  Teflon is 500% more slippery than graphite and is impregnated throughout the BLACK TUSQ XL material, so its lubricating properties will never wear out.  For strings, it’s like a hardwood floor covered in marbles… strings glide effortlessly back into tune.  It’s that simple!

Play longer, harder, and with more confidence… work that whammy bar!

BLACK TUSQ XL nuts will keep your guitar in tune longer than graphite, bone, plastic, or synthetic nuts.  In addition, a BLACK TUSQ XL nut has crystal clear tone and sustain.

BLACK TUSQ XL nuts are factory-installed by Cort, Carvin, Dean, Fender Custom Shop, Fernandes, Gibson, G&L, Ibanez, LAG, Ovation, Peavey, Parker, and Schecter.
