The Mirror Image Delay is a versatile digital delay pedal featuring three echo types: Digital for precise, crystal-clear repeats, Analog for a warmer, vintage-style sound, and Tape for the character of classic tape echoes. Each mode offers two variations, providing six different voicings in total. Controls include Delay Time, Feedback, and Level, along with Rate and Depth modulation controls to add movement to the repeats. A selector adds a dotted-eighth-note delay, ideal for rhythmic playing in the style of The Edge, while the Trails function allows echoes to decay naturally after the pedal is switched off. Its anodized aluminum enclosure is built to last, and the illuminated knobs are practical for stage use. It runs on a 9V power supply or battery. With delay times of up to approximately 900 ms, it is equally suited to slapback effects, atmospheric soundscapes, and complex rhythmic patterns.
