[Features]
We have a 1969 Les Paul Custom in stock.
This guitar boasts the unique charm of the "68-69" period, a highly sought-after vintage Les Paul.
Based on the date on the pots, this particular guitar is dated to 1969.
The neck is a three-piece, non-volute mahogany, and the body features a one-piece mahogany back.
Unlike modern Customs, this guitar boasts a rich, low-midrange and a dry, clear sound, creating a distinctive vintage character.
The Gibson logo on the headstock features a dotless "i" font, firmly embodying the distinctive look of the period.
While the rear pickup has a sticker and the front pickup does not, both are believed to be original units from the time.
The electrical pots are also believed to be original, ensuring that the core sound remains intact, a key feature of this vintage guitar.
The frets have been replaced and the guitar is in a usable condition that does not impair playability.
The nut has likely been replaced, but there are currently no performance issues or discomfort, and the guitar is set up properly.
The strap pins have been replaced with locking pins, allowing for safe use even in intense stage performances (original pins are not included).
Overall, there are scratches and signs of use commensurate with age,
but the neck and electrical system are in good condition, and there are currently no noticeable issues with playability.
With pitch stability and a well-functioning truss rod, this guitar has the playability to enjoy for many years to come.
The clean sound has a thick yet well-defined tone, and the crunch and distortion sound have the dense sustain and bold midrange that are characteristic of a Les Paul Custom,
impressing with its versatility, making it a great fit for players of not only rock and blues, but also jazz and fusion.
This is a highly recommended guitar for anyone looking for a 1969 Les Paul Custom that combines vintage value with practicality for live performance.
If this vintage and these specs appeal to you, we highly recommend you consider purchasing one soon.
