Granulita Versio is a granular chord resynthesizer: patch a simple sound to the input, and a unique granular algorithm creates chords based on the timbre and pitch of your input.
Granulita allows you to control the generated harmony, from unison and basic intervals to triads and tetrads, as well as the note that tracks the input. The unquantized pitch offset detunes or transposes the output to create dissonant atmospheres, even more drastic harmonies, or ominous movement and vibrato.
The versatile control interface offers CV-able options for grain behavior, including grain count, length, and direction. The flexible gate input and corresponding Hit button can be configured to freeze grain playback, sync grain timing to an external clock, or fire grain playback from an external trigger source. Finally, the Verb parameter adds atmosphere using Noise Engineering’s unique take on reverb.
A drone monster and powerful add-on for any oscillator, Granulita Versio makes modular chord creation simple and easy in a compact space.
