RCA 6CG7 Black Plate Well Matched (4.4%) Pair NOS

This is a well matched pair of RCA 6CG7 tubes that were made in the USA. The 6CG7 is a direct substitute for the 6FQ7, but the 6CG7 has an extra metal plate between the triodes to help with rf shielding. These tubes were manufactured to rigorous specifications and you can expect low noise and great performance. One of the tubes is perfectly balanced. These tubes have plates that test similar to each other. These tubes have long black plates, faded white or red lettering, and a top horseshoe getter. These are highly sought after RCA 6CG7 tubes, act quickly before they sell out!! More available upon request.

Be careful buying tubes from other sellers who list "matched pairs" but do not provide test results or specify the equipment that they use to test their tubes.

I personally hand tested these tubes on my recently calibrated Hickok 600a and TV7D/U tube testers.
