For sale is this beautiful, 16 Inch, Artur Teller Viola made in 1959.

This professionally loved instrument was purchased in the 90’s and has been in the possession of the owner since.

It is currently set-up with new dominant strings and is accompanied by a Duralite case, and German made bow, and a few other items in the case.

It has been expertly looked over and set-up, and is incredibly easy to play, with a rich, well rounded tone, easy articulation, and a very nice fit in the left hand. This viola would make an easy transition in feel and playability for violinists looking to expand their instrumental repertoire!

Nice craftsmanship, beautiful varnish, and with a lot less wear than you’d expect on a 60 year old instrument. This high quality outfit is very clean and has been well taken care of and would be a great new-to-you instrument for a budding player, university student, or as a secondary Viola.

Over all, this is one of the nicest violas I’ve played in this price range. You couldn’t ask for a better sound or condition of a 63 year old instrument!
