A rare opportunity to acquire an outstanding Paiste Formula 602 cymbal set in one purchase.
The set comprises:
- 22" Medium Ride (1976) – a rare vintage example, 3,220g
- 18" Thin Crash (New Classic) – 1,984g
- 16" Crash (1972) – a rare vintage example, 1,200g
The two vintage cymbals are in exceptional condition, with no keyholing, cracks, dents, flea bites, or edge damage. They have been carefully looked after and are becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition.
With its slightly heavier Medium Ride, this set is particularly well suited to the classic rock sound of the 1970s, reminiscent of many of the era's iconic recordings, while retaining the unmistakable warmth, clarity and musicality of the Formula 602 series.
The set comes complete with a Paiste backpack-style cymbal bag, also in excellent condition.
