Schoeps M221F 1950 -1960 - Silver

Following my retirement (effective July 10, 2023), I am selling some of my professional audio equipment.

Some of these items have been with me for over 20 years and have always been used with the utmost care in my personal non-smoking studio (no travel required) and maintained throughout their period of use by a team of professional technicians.

For sale: a pair of Schoeps M221F microphones (Telefunken AC701 tube, 100% ready) equipped with an M934F omnidirectional/cardioid capsule. These microphone models were the standard for Radio France and Mercury and remain extremely rare on the vintage market. They are in very good condition and 100% functional. Gray gaffer tape has been applied to the sides of the microphones to preserve their aesthetic condition during use (due to their age, the varnish is cracking and peeling but no reperccussion on the sound and functionnalities). 

These two pieces are extremely rare as a pair and with these early serial numbers.

Serial number of capsule 1 M934F: 4104

Serial number of capsule 2 M934F: 3984

Serial number of SCHOEPS power supply n1: N20F - 1779

Serial number of SCHOEPS power supply n2: N20F - 1780

Power supply/Connectors and cables 100% original on one of the two power supplies. 

The second power supply has been “modernized” with the replacement of the power cable (ground) and the addition of a male XLR connector.
