Looks like a Jazzmaster. Feels and sounds like a purpose-built modern metal guitar.

I am selling my Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster in Flat Black, purchased in June 2024. It has been played very little and remains in mint condition. Everything works exactly as it should.

This is a complete example, supplied with the original Fender black tweed hard case and all original case candy and accessories.

The Jim Root model keeps the iconic offset Jazzmaster shape but removes virtually everything associated with a traditional Jazzmaster. Instead, it has a mahogany body, a hardtail string-through bridge, locking tuners, active EMG 60/81 humbuckers and an intentionally simple control layout consisting of one volume knob and a three-way pickup selector.

The 12” to 16” compound-radius fingerboard and jumbo frets make it exceptionally comfortable for both heavy rhythm playing and faster lead work. The EMGs deliver a tight, articulate high-gain sound, while the mahogany body gives the guitar more weight and depth than a conventional Jazzmaster.
