Höfner Model 173 1964-1966 - Sunburnst

Vintage 1960s Höfner Solid Body Electric Guitar – Made in Germany – Sunburst

An original mid-1960s Höfner solid-body electric guitar, made in Germany. This is a wonderful example of Höfner’s distinctive offset-body designs from the golden era of European guitar manufacturing.

Finished in the original sunburst, the guitar features two original Höfner single-coil pickups, original electronics with slider switches, rosewood fingerboard, and the classic black headstock with gold Höfner logo.

The guitar has aged beautifully, showing honest cosmetic wear consistent with more than 60 years of use. It has scratches, small dings, and light oxidation on the hardware but remains a very attractive and well-preserved vintage instrument.
