Yamaha BB735A DCS

YAMAHA BB735A DCS

Excellent condition with very little sign of use!

The BB735A is a 5-string active bass from YAMAHA’s iconic BB series.

It features an alder/maple/alder 3-ply body, a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

YAMAHA’s 6-Bolt Miter Neck Joint combines a standard bolt-on construction with 2 extra bolts diagonally driven from the body side.

This firmly secures the neck to the body, contributing to excellent vibration transfer and stable resonance.

The bass is equipped with YGD Custom V7 pickups in a P/J configuration.

Its controls include volume, balance, 3-band EQ, and active/passive switching.

When used in passive mode, the treble control functions as a master tone control, making it very practical.

The Vintage Plus Light bridge supports YAMAHA’s Diagonal Body Thru Stringing system, allowing the strings to pass diagonally through the body from the back. Standard top-loading is also available.

The finish is DCS (Dark Coffee Sunburst).

This bass retains the classic BB-style appearance while offering a versatile range of tones through its 5-string design, active EQ, and P/J pickup configuration.

There are no noticeable scratches, and it is in excellent condition for a used instrument.

The neck is straight, fret wear is minimal, and the bass is in good playing condition.
