KoAloha Ukuleles was founded in 1995 by Alvin Okami. Currently, it is run by a small, elite team of craftsmen, led by his eldest son and chairman, Alan, and his second son and president, Paul. KoAloha has now become one of Hawaii's leading ukulele manufacturers. It is characterized by its modern look, such as the triangular soundhole called the Musubi soundhole and the crown-designed headstock, and the loud volume that resonates with a clear tone. This instrument is a used "KCM-02" from 2022, featuring a concert body and long neck. It has a Hawaiian koa body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and original tuners. Because it uses a long neck (tenor neck), it is expected to perform well in all genres, from chord playing to solo playing, and is recommended for those who want even higher playability than a regular concert ukulele.
