This model was produced in a limited run of approximately 50 units around 2003.
Featuring a 10-ply maple shell that is thicker than the Z series, this snare drum boasts edgy specifications, combining the then-new #165 Diamond Burst finish with black hardware.
If produced with these specifications today, it would be classified as a Masterworks model, making it an excellent value for the price.

The 10-ply, 12.5mm maple shell produces a very solid, edgy sound.
These specifications are quite rare, so I highly recommend this snare to anyone looking for a powerful wooden snare.

While there are some minor scratches and discoloration consistent with its age, there is no significant damage, the sound is excellent, and it remains fully functional.
