The Red Nectar is a boutique pedal that combines a compressor and overdrive in a single enclosure, with a modern and highly flexible approach. It pairs a Tube Screamer–inspired overdrive (with a warmer, richer character) with a compressor derived from Keeley’s well-known circuits, allowing precise control over sustain, dynamics, and tone. Each section can be used independently or stacked, with the option to choose the signal order, which greatly affects feel and response. Versatile and expressive, it covers everything from boosted clean tones to crunch and more driven overdrive sounds, while offering excellent control over playing dynamics.
