The Telefunken TD7C is built for reliability, clarity, and controlled presence. Originally developed for speech and general studio use, it delivers a focused, articulate sound that fits naturally into a mix without excessive coloration.

OPTICAL CONDITION
Very good overall condition. The housing and grille show only light signs of age, consistent with careful use. Clean appearance with no major dents or damage.

TECHNICAL CONDITION

Solid metal body with a classic Telefunken industrial design. Originally equipped with an older fixed cable, this unit has been upgraded to a high-quality Sommer Galileo recording cable and terminated with a standard XLR connector for modern studio compatibility.

SOUND CHARACTERISTICS
Clear, focused midrange with a controlled top end. The TD7C offers excellent speech intelligibility and a slightly forward presence that works well for vocals, voiceover, and close-miked instruments such as guitar amps or snare. It sits easily in a mix without requiring heavy EQ.
