Gibson Thunderbird Pickup - New, Old Stock Vintage (1970s - Chrome)

Living near Nashville has its perks. We’re not far from the Gibson factory and Custom Shop (about 25 mins), which means I frequently see boxes of authentic Gibson parts walk through the door. A lot of people who work at Gibson live in my county, and thus, I have a lot of regulars that either work for, or have worked for Gibson. A recent haul from a storage unit auction included several samples, templates, and new old stock parts from the 1950s through the 1990s.

Here is one of the crown jewels from my last box score - 1970s Gibson Thunderbird pickup. This one is New Old Stock, which means it has never been mounted. It works great and has been tested by both clipping in and running resistance on a meter. Pics of meter readings included.
