 Tommy Emmanuel / NEW DIMENSION
Since 2011, we’ve been crafting Tommy Emmanuel’s signature guitar cables, the Special Edition, tailored specifically to his preferences. These cables have quickly gained recognition as some of the best for electroacoustic instruments on the market.

Over the years, we’ve deepened our understanding, particularly since our entry into the audiophile sector, where we create cables for the most discerning customers. By 2019, we knew it was time to bring this knowledge back into the guitar world, focusing on a type of cable that hadn’t yet been experienced by the market—this time dedicated to electroacoustic instruments. Unlike other cables that try to cover all styles, we realized that each musical style has its own unique requirements. High-gain amps don’t suit the subtleties of blues, just as some cables may work for one style but fall short in another.

For example, our Precision series is crafted specifically for genres like blues, pop, and rock (even hard rock), where certain tonal qualities overlap, and equipment demands are similar. On the other hand, the Selective PRO PLUS cables cater to heavy metal with an ultra-selective, uncolored tone that’s also ideal for studio recording. You can find more about these cables here:

When it came to designing Tommy’s cable, we aimed to highlight the full spectrum of sounds his guitar could produce, down to the faintest nuances. His playing style is complex—he can sound like three guitarists at once, with intricate fingerpicking and percussive elements. We wanted a cable that could maintain exceptional separation of these elements, providing a more 3D-like sound that the listener could fully appreciate. Natural highs, smoother on the ears, were essential, and we succeeded in creating this experience.

The result is Tommy Emmanuel - New Dimension, which we believe is one of the best cables for electroacoustic instruments on the market. You’ll notice the difference with the first note. This 5 mm cable features 24k gold-plated plugs, just like all our cables, and is soldered with 4% extra silver. It’s built from the highest quality components available.

Its construction includes a woven spiral-wound screen, which reduces microphonics and provides superior shielding. Additionally, it is double-protected by a special tube for longevity. Despite its heavy-duty protection, it remains one of the most flexible cables in its class. This design ensures that the cable won’t get tangled and remains durable for years. The Pearl sleeve adds reliability and a sleek look.

Available in various lengths, and with patch cables designed to maintain sound quality through effects pedals, the New Dimension is an unbeatable choice for anyone serious about tone.

As with all DL cables, this product comes with a Lifetime Warranty.

DL Cables is a no-compromise product, proudly made in Poland.
