Huge and increasingly hard-to-find Sabian AA Metal-X 24" Ride, weighing in at an impressive 4810 grams.

Introduced in the early 2000s, Sabian's discontinued AA Metal-X series was designed for high-volume playing, combining the musical characteristics of Sabian's professional B20 AA series with exceptional projection, stick definition and cutting power.

The 24" Metal-X Ride was the largest of the Metal-X ride models and is considerably less common than the 20", 21" and 22" versions.

At 4810g, this is a seriously substantial ride. It produces strong, articulate stick definition with plenty of body underneath, while the large raw/unlathed bell provides a powerful, cutting bell sound capable of getting through a loud band.

Despite the Metal-X name, these cymbals aren't limited to metal. The enormous 24" diameter gives the cymbal a broad, full-bodied sound and considerable tonal depth while retaining the definition expected from a heavy ride.
