The gold standard for Fenders spanning tweed, brown, blackface, and silver face eras. These are backups I've held onto for many years and sound fantastic. Beautiful sounding tubes. Open and airy chime that transitions into rich and creamy breakup. These test new and while they have "bear trap" retainer marks on the bakelite bases from testing years ago, have no more than a two hours on them.
