Up for grabs is a used (with a little less than light average wear) Erotix FX Candi Comp effect pedal. This model pedal is based on the classic grey Ross box of the 70s.

Comes with a new set of black round rubber feet.

Sorry NO box, NO paperwork, and NO battery.

In case you don't know -- the Erotic FX pedal making company / builder is NO longer in business.

No longer made. Great for collectors, for someone to use, or both. Also great to give to someone as a gift.

If you are checking out this listing - then you probably know about this pedal and /or about the EROTIC FX Pedals Company / Builder. But I added some information - in case you are not familiar with this brand.

I got this pedal (pre-owned) about 12 years ago - but I rarely used it. I was always planning to to list it (to sell) but never got around to doing so until now. I think that this pedal was make in the 2000s (maybe the early 2010s).

I personally do not know much about EROTIC effects pedals. Like if it was a small company that made boutique pedals or if it was one person (builder) making pedals upon request through a website (or something like that). Not much info when I recently did research.

From what I recently read and also from the information that I came across about the EROTIC FX Pedal Company many years ago - they are made (assembled) in the USA. NOTE: the casing (top part and bottom plate) were sourced from TAIWAN. As with many effect pedal makin companies- the internal components most likely were also sourced from outside the USA.

In my opinion (and as you can see from the pictures) - the craftsmanship of the board is better that a BYOC (build your own clone) and even the casing and graphic look professional. Some info submitted by some people on some forums that I came across make it seen like this is a BYOC thing / pedal. But - contrary to this - this pedal was actually made by someone or by people with pedal making skills.

I loosely put it's condition as VERY GOOD. I's say it's an 8 out of 10. Some people might say that is is in between VG and GOOD shape.

Cosmetic Condition -

EXTERIOR: Each side of the casing has nicks, scratches, and scuffs. You can see most (not all) of them in the pictures. Some sides have less imperfections compared to other sides. The bottom side has the most imperfections because the pedal was used by the previous owner without the feet on.

KNOBS: Clean. The white lines for the knobs have aged a little and are a white-ish cream color.

POWER JACK: It has a couple of visible nicks and very short scratches (nothing too serious).

SILVER HARDWARE (switch, nuts and washers for the jacks): Clean -- just minor dullness. The switch is True Bypass. NOTE; The screws for the bottom plate are slightly raised (you may not notice this - but I'm mentioning this to cover myself). But when you put the feet or if you have this pedal on a pedal board this will not be an issue. I even cut the screws a little shorter to see if this will make a difference - but they still are slightly raised.

The INSIDE of the CASING the the circuit board are very clean. The casing just natural imperfecitons and the foam pieces have visible - but not too serious impressions.

Straight forward compression pedal -

Controls: Sustain and Volume. There is also an internal trimmer. I'll play with this pedal to see what this trimmer does and then I will add the details.

Jacks: IN, OUT, and power.

• It uses the same type of adaptor as most compact sized effect pedal like Boss, MXR, Ibanez, etc. Adaptor NOT included. It can also be used with a 9v battery (battery NOT included).

The Candi Comp is named after the sweetest girl in the club. She is quiet and nobody really notices her. She Really rounds out the establishment.

The compressor is based on the classic grey Ross box of the 70s. With the addition of true bypass switching and LED indicators. Made with quality components and true to the original circuit this compressor does not color your tone, it just does it's job by squashing your signal as much as you desire.

This is a great compressor for that country chicken pickin, or getting the squashed sound of "Phish".

I took pictures of all sides of the pedal and there are a few of the inside of the pedal.

NOTE:  Even though you can see many of the imperfections that this pedal has in the pictures - there are a couple that are not - but they can be seen in person. And there are / there maybe a few natural, factory made, and / or hand made imperfections on the pedal that can be seen in person that are not visible in the pictures. There may be a coiuple imperfections that I overlooked. There may be some glares and dust / lint specks that show up in the pictures that are not visible in person.
