A compact alternative to the JHS Red Remote with an added LED indicator and selectable LED polarity.

The Loop-Master Pedals Red Remote Alternative lets you remotely activate the onboard switchable function found on compatible JHS pedals — but adds something especially useful: a visual LED indicator right at the remote footswitch.

We've also included an LED POLARITY switch.

If the connected pedal's function is ON but the remote LED is OFF, simply flip the polarity switch to reverse the LED indication.

This allows you to set the LED so that it corresponds correctly with the function you're controlling.

The exact function controlled by the remote depends on the pedal being used.

WHY ADD AN LED?

The standard remote switching function is simple, but sometimes it's useful to have a dedicated visual indicator at your feet.

This version adds an LED so you can quickly see the status of the remotely controlled function without relying solely on the pedal itself.

That's especially useful when the pedal is:

• At the back of your pedalboard

• Mounted underneath a board

• Located in a rack

• Difficult to see on a dark stage

• Positioned away from your main switching area

LED POLARITY SWITCH

Different devices and switching arrangements can result in the LED indication operating opposite of what you want.

That's why we've added an LED POLARITY switch.

If the effect or function is ON but the LED is OFF, flip the polarity switch.

The LED indication is reversed so you can configure it to correspond with the function you're controlling.

It's a small feature that makes the remote much more useful with different setups.

MORNING GLORY V4

Connect the remote to a compatible JHS Morning Glory V4 and you can access its additional gain stage with your foot.

Instead of reaching down to operate the pedal's gain toggle, simply hit the Loop-Master Pedals remote.

This essentially gives you two gain levels from the Morning Glory that can be selected while you're playing.

SUPERBOLT V2

The SuperBolt V2 also supports JHS Red Remote control.

Connect the Loop-Master Pedals remote and you can switch the pedal's additional gain setting on the fly without reaching down to operate the pedal itself.

OTHER RED REMOTE APPLICATIONS

The controller can also be used with other compatible Red Remote-equipped JHS pedals.

Depending on the pedal, the remotely controlled function may provide:

• Alternate gain levels

• Different voices

• Loop selection

• Other remotely selectable functions

The connected pedal determines the function being controlled.

SIMPLE HOOKUP

Connect the Loop-Master Pedals remote to the REMOTE jack of your compatible pedal using a standard 1/4" mono instrument/patch cable.

No TRS cable is required.

The remote switching itself is passive.

POWER

Boss/Ibanez 2.1mm center-negative 9V DC for LED only; switching is fully passive and works without power.

Without 9V power connected, the remote switching function still operates normally — only the LED will be inactive.
