Acoustic Performance:
Designed by world-renowned acoustic engineers, the Mellowalltrap features medically engineered internal incisions beneath its premium acoustic fabric. It aggressively balances mid and mid-high frequencies (typically >250Hz to <10KHz), eliminating fluttering echoes and controlling primary reflections. It delivers an exceptionally high Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) to perfect the listening position of any elite monitoring room, mastering suite, or luxury home theater.

Rear of the panel retains the factory mounting provisions/spacer assembly as shown in the photos.

The printed fabric wraps around the sides of the panel, giving it a finished appearance even when viewed at an angle.

Art & Narrative

The value of this specific piece escalates exponentially beyond a generic acoustic panel because it functions as Acoustic Art featuring custom "Motif" prints.

• The Concept: The artwork depicts the infamous "FIASCO" 2000 Butterfly Ballot (the highly controversial physical voting ballot format from Palm Beach County, Florida, during the 2000 US Presidential Election between George W. Bush and Al Gore).
• The Convergence: This turns a mechanical piece of studio gear into a rare historical/political pop-art statement piece. The "expectation" of its value relies heavily on art-world valuation metrics rather than just its material composition (recycled acoustic foam and fire-retardant fabric).

Condition: Pre-owned and in very good overall condition. Some minor cosmetic signs of handling/use may be present. The panel is structurally flawless, robust, and 100% acoustically functional. The front-facing artwork remains crisp, clear, and vibrant. There are some minor cosmetic scuffs strictly on the gray fabric edges from handling and storage. The underlying wood backing frame is entirely unaffected. Because the wear is limited to the side profiles, it is easily masked depending on how you mount it. Priced down accordingly. Please review all photos closely, as they are part of the description.
