Wave Slicer is a high-speed switch controlled by an audio-rate comparator which is designed for what Jon Sonnenberg calls "wave replacement synthesis."
It is similar in appearance to the Pulse Matrix, with a comparator at the top of the module, but which drives a two-output audio-rate switch whose inputs are in the middle of the module, and whose outputs are at the bottom of it.
The inputs of the switch are normalled to +5 volts and -5 volts, which means if you plug nothing into them a pulse wave and its suboctave will be presented at the switch outputs, if driving the comparator with a sawtooth wave.
