The Prism Sound Lyra 1 is a compact, reference-grade 2x2 USB audio interface derived from the high-end Orpheus architecture.
Key Features & Specifications
• Conversion & Clocking: Inherits transparent A/D and D/A conversion and clock circuitry from the Prism Sound Orpheus.
• Analog Inputs: 2 total inputs featuring 1 high-impedance instrument (DI) / line input (Channel 1) and 1 microphone / line input with a class-A preamp, 48V phantom power, a 20dB pad, and soft-clip "Overkiller" limiters (Channel 2).
• Analog Outputs: 2 balanced/unbalanced ¼" TRS line outputs plus an independent headphone output.
• Digital I/O: Optical S/PDIF (TOSLINK) input and output with input-only sample-rate conversion (SRC).
• Software & Compatibility: Class-compliant USB 2.0 (UAC2) operation supporting Mac Core Audio, Windows ASIO/WDM, and Linux/Android, managed via the Lyra Control Panel App. It also features Prism Sound's proprietary Verifile digital audio error-checking technology.
