Aquila Perla trebles are Bionylon, a round, smooth monofilament that is 63% plant-derived. Aquila states it cuts carbon dioxide emissions during polymer production by more than 30% compared with common nylons. The sound is warm and mellow.

The basses are high-quality silver-plated copper wound on a Nylgut multifilament core, with high tensile strength and low moisture absorption for fast, stable tuning even as humidity changes.

Set 37C is the normal tension Perla set, a full set of six strings. Made in Italy by Aquila Corde Armoniche.
