Wurlitzer 200A | History
Straight out of the 1970s, the Wurlitzer 200A was a souped-up take on the original Wurli 200. Sporting a new and improved amp circuit and speaker - the 200A brought that classic Wurlitzer feel and sound with updated mechanics.
Offered up for the first time in 1974, the 200A was available only in a sleek black or avocado green finish. However, custom finishes started popping up from third-party creatives such as the contemporary Chicago Electric Piano Co.
Though production ceased (with the 200A) in the early to mid 1980s - the keyboard's impact on popular music remains immeasurable. From Sun Ra to Supertramp, the has Wurlitzer shined in music spanning all genres since its inception. Chicago Electric Piano Co breathes new life into the instrument with this stunning Live pack, for the modern performer.
