I build guitars, basses, and the occasional effect pedal.

Most of the wood used for the guitar and bass bodies is local. Dead or dying trees on my property, or donations from local arborists. I mill and dry the logs and use them to build with.
I also salvage wood from buildings that are coming down. Most of them are pre-1950, so it is some nice old growth lumber. White pine, cedar, maple, madrone, apple, and a few other randoms that are used for accents or inlays.
Because necks are necks, I source most of the wood used for those.
I'll be posting instruments as they are finished.

Yes, the salvaged wood has a few rusty nail holes or dents in the wood, but it just adds character.
Cracks in the milled wood are filled with epoxy to strengthen the slab.

To me they look great, and they sound great.
Each one an original.

I've only begun my pedal journey. My plan is to offer 11 "prototypes" here, then do a small batch. The prototypes will be fully functional, but each will have packaging and pedal design changes.
Truly one of a kind. I will number them with a "P-" before the serial number to differentiate between them and the final small run.
I will offer the prototypes at 25-50% off.
Stay Tuned!
