Established in 1981, Portland Percussion is Maine's largest percussion superstore located at 168 Yarmouth Rd in Gray, Maine. A leader in Maine music retail for over 40 years. We are 11,000 square feet of select musical products under one roof: new and vintage drums, all forms of percussion, electric, acoustic and bass guitars, amps, sound reinforcement and more. all priced 25% to 75% off manufacturers suggested retail prices.
Shipping Policy
we ship daily. we used FedEX for domestic shipping and we use USPS for international as well as a number of different shippers for larger packages depending on weight.
all orders placed will recieve shipping confirmation and tracking information within 24 hours of order being placed, provided it is placed on a business day. orders placed on saturdays, sundays and holidays will be shipped the following business day.

New Items
Returnable within 14 days of delivery.
Used & Vintage Items
Returnable within 7 days of delivery.
General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
we want you to be happy. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it in its original condition within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. returned items must be returned in the same condition as received, showing absolutely no signs of wear or use. any item with visible playing wear or with damage caused by buyer is non returnable. all original packaging, manuals, warranty cards and accessories must also be returned. shipping fees will not be refunded, unless item was damaged during shipping. [items damaged during shipping must be reported within 24 hrs of delivery]. for items shipped with free shipping, or if our actual shipping costs were higher than shipping fees paid by buyer, our actual shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. any returned drums or drum sets with visible playing wear is subject to a $25 head replacement fee per drum. all return shipping fees and shipping insurance must be paid by the buyer. in the event that any returned item is damaged during the return shipment to us it will be the shippers sole responsibility to file a damage claim and settle with the shipper
due to the careful packing required, vintage instruments are only returnable to the store location in person. we will not accept vintage returns via any shipping company.
