UPDATE 3/29/19, PLEASE READ:

We all experience a time in life when we have to make decisions that are maybe more difficult than we would like, and I can honestly say this is one of them.

Unfortunately, due to personal/health related concerns I feel are not necessary to disclose, music|Symmetry will no longer currently be an active store.

I pray that this can be temporary, but over the past few months, there is a good chance that it may not be the case. I want to sincerely thank each and every single one of you who took the chance buying on a whim from a shop that was still building it's reputation, and hope you are still enjoying/finding a use for the gear you have. Most of the gear I sold on here had a unique history behind it, and I hope you're making some little history of your own, however big or small that may be. I was never one to try and just make a profit for something, purpose and reason were always my number one factors, especially when it came to the reverb store. I spend many a nights trying to improve my branding, take better photos, write personal descriptions for all of my listings, and try and include demos in a raw context (when I was able to) so you got the best feel for something before you decided to make the purchase.

As long as I know in some way I succeeded at my goal of giving you that "wow" experience when you got your package, I have tremendous peace with that, and if not, well, it surely wouldn't be the first time I came up short. If there was nothing special about your experience here, that's cool also, I just hope you don't come hunt me down at a later date.

Take each positive moment you have on any scale as a total blessing, for something as small as having mental/physical health, to larger moments as stepping on the stage in front of an audience for the first time. Life is a mystery without certainty, and we are neither owed or guaranteed anything at all. Each moment that makes up the whole that we call out lives is unique to us all, and embracing that is truly living life to the fullest.

Success is a complete blasphemy in our world today. it comes in the form of more, more, more, and conquering and learning, and achieving, but I've found that sometimes what we think we are looking for is no where to be found, until we discover the victories that happen every day in the quietest moments of our lives. Learn about yourself, and be your own best friend. Yearn for TRUTH, allow it to grow when it is meant to, and you'll be the greatest success to the one that matters most.

Don't ever forget how to sing your own melody, it's the only one in the world that sounds like it!

Why Symmetry?

To me, symmetry is something we all desire to strive for, physically, mentally, and spiritually. It is reflective in our modern age designs, physical portrayal, digital communication, and especially music production.


I mysteriously stumbled upon the discovery of symbols, finite design, and infinite growth recently, and it actually inspired this new design. If you take simple mathematical symbols plus, minus, multiply, and divide, you can actually create perfect designs that grow in and on themselves.

Aside from the perfect geometrical parameters of these four symbols, the meaning of each and how they apply to each other drew my attention even more.

Despite adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing (using the pictorial context of these symbols), perfect expansion results from the origin of the original pattern.

I thought for a moment on how man tries to deliberately subtract or multiply everything in his path. Whether it be pushing marketing for pharma drugs, Tupperware pop music, food and health trends, etc, perfection still continues outside this artificial realm of mans behaviors.

I personally found the division symbol to be the most applicable in our current modern world, and it may be plainly evident to you as well. We are so divided as a nation, as a race, labels are a plenty, and everything we do needs to try and prove a point to others. "United we stand, divided we fall," is becoming the very paradox of its own destruction.

Despite man trying to create this "perfect" balance, we ultimately end up creating division, because we are imperfect by nature, and our problem solving solutions many a time become division creating. How can we create the "ideal solution" if the tools being used are inapplicable to the task at hand?

If we look back at the original intention for these basic math shapes, despite the state of division we are in as a society right now, perfection is still working beyond us in ways that we will only see if we look past our own self derived ideas and limitations.

Looking past ones self, this will ring true: "We will always be divided in some way or another, but despite the attempts man derives to control for his own selfish intent, creation will always exist as it's own separate pathways to multiply, despite division or subtraction."

One can spend their entire life trying to achieve perfection, only to be met with disappointment when they fall short, or a man can observe and discover perfection throughout his experience of life, and be filled with awe in amazement that a perfect Creation exists because of a perfect Creator.

Let's reconnect the pieces using the tools that we already have right in front of us, instead of trying to create more patterns of confusion and division.
