The quick pace of new pedal releases from the gear world's beloved boutique and major brands keeps putting great, imaginative pedals onto guitarists' pedalboards. One benefit is the wealth of recently released effects units landing on the used market—often for great prices.

Today, Andy Martin's showing off five awesome pedals that have, in recent months, continued to go down in price on Reverb. In December last year, DigiTech lowered the new price of its Obscura Alter Delay, a move that further pushed down pricing on the used market. Now you can find this rich, tape- and lofi-sounding delay pedal for around $60 or $70.

Buyers looking for used Wampler Tumnus overdrives can get a great deal, thanks to an expanded version hitting the market. Now, this $140 pedal can be had for around $90 to $100. Meanwhile, the Walrus Audio Voyager boost/overdrive can be found for as low as $80, from a high of $125 used.

Rounding out Andy's list is the Chase Bliss Tonal Recall—a truly exceptional pedal that lists on Reverb used for up to $100 less than its former going-rate.
