Fender Telecaster 'Collector' model CTL-50M (C = Collector and M = Maple). Also known as: TL-72' ASH VNT.
Made in Japan in 1990 at the famous Fujigen factory for Fender.
Body with nitrocellulose lacquer finish. High-end example.
*Selected and imported from Japan by us*
In good overall condition, with some signs of wear, scratches, dings, traces of old stickers (the Japanese love them!). Frets are in good condition: 5.5 to 6/10 (see photos for details).
Incredible tone: warm, powerful, precise, very 'pop/rock'.
On Japanese models, the main differences compared to the TL-52' reissue are: the headstock logo, the sealed tuners (preferred over vintage-style tuners), and the rosewood reinforcement on the back of the neck. Note a crack with no impact on the low E string mechanism; purely cosmetic (reduced price €999 instead of €1199).
