For sale is a highly remarkable pair of Genelec 1029A active studio monitors from the very first owner.A Piece of Audio & Post-Production History:
These monitors were delivered in March 1995 as part of a turn-key, ultra-expensive high-end video editing suite from California (the Immix Video Cube). Since Genelec did not officially launch the 1029A worldwide until early 1996, this pair represents an exceptionally rare pre-launch / first-batch factory delivery.This is a cohesive original set from the exact same early production run. The serial numbers 029A036107 and 029A036120 perfectly match the original factory print on the box (OVP) – a true holy grail for collectors. Because Genelec individually calibrates every single speaker to a strict reference curve at the factory in Finland, a flawless stereo image is guaranteed. They have been meticulously cared for in a smoke-free studio.Condition:

• Technical: 100% fully functional. Pots are buttery smooth, no crackling, no dropouts. The sound is incredibly precise, just like on day one.
• Cosmetic: Good and well-preserved overall condition with honest signs of use. Please note: Both monitors show some scratches, and the small original rubber feet are missing on one of the speakers (please check the detailed photos). They look great from the front and sides when set up.
