Shredders and guitarists of all stripes often reach a point where speed, precision, and versatility become essential to unlocking new musical possibilities. Available now at Haggerty's Music, the Ibanez RG460DX was built for exactly that moment, combining the legendary performance of the RG platform with modern appointments that encourage technical playing without sacrificing comfort or tone. Finished in the eye-catching Blue Haze finish, this guitar is equally suited for high-gain metal, hard rock, fusion, progressive music, and virtually any style that demands exceptional playability.

At the heart of the RG460DX is Ibanez's renowned Wizard III maple neck, famous for its thin profile, effortless feel, and ability to facilitate fast, accurate playing across all 24 jumbo frets. The meranti body provides a balanced tonal foundation with warm mids and excellent sustain, while the jatoba fingerboard adds crisp articulation and rich harmonic response. The Edge-Zero II double-locking tremolo delivers smooth vibrato effects with dependable tuning stability, making everything from subtle expression to aggressive dive bombs feel natural and controlled.

The versatile Quantum HSS pickup configuration offers an impressive range of tones, from sparkling single-coil cleans and articulate rhythm sounds to thick, aggressive humbucker drive for soaring lead work. Combined with a five-way selector switch and responsive controls, the RG460DX easily adapts to virtually any playing situation. Finished with black hardware and equipped with Ibanez's durable mono-unit output jack for long-term reliability, this RG Standard delivers the speed, tone, and performance that have made the RG series one of the world's most respected modern electric guitars.
