An accessible Ovation original with signature roundback body and balanced acoustic tone.

The Ovation CS24 Celebrity Series acoustic-electric guitar provides versatile tone and premium playability. Designed for musicians seeking an affordable, stage-ready instrument, the CS24 features a solid spruce top and Ovation's innovative Lyrachord composite body, which produces full, balanced acoustic tone with natural projection. The mid-depth body contours comfortably to your body, while the nato neck and ovangkol fingerboard ensure a smooth playing experience.

Solid Spruce Top Radiates Warm, Resonant Tone

The hand-selected solid spruce top is the ideal tonewood for an acoustic guitar, producing a bright, shimmering sound with strong projection. As you play, the spruce top opens up and matures into a richer, more complex tone. Paired with the Lyrachord composite body, the spruce top generates the warm, resonant tone Ovation guitars are known for.

Lyrachord Composite Body Offers Natural Resonance

Ovation's Lyrachord composite body is molded into an elegant rounded shape to provide acoustic chambers that amplify the guitar's natural resonance. The composite material is highly durable yet lightweight, resulting in an instrument that's both stage-ready and comfortable to play. The mid-depth body produces balanced acoustic tone that suits a range of musical styles.

OP-4CT Preamp Gives You Control Over Your Tone

The CS24 comes equipped with Ovation's OP-4CT preamp system, which provides tone control and a built-in tuner for amplified and acoustic playing. Shape your tone using the bass, mid and treble controls, then save your settings to memory. The tuner ensures you're in tune whether on stage or in studio. The preamp runs on two AA batteries, allowing you to amplify your CS24 anywhere.
