This is an all original 1966 Gibson Johnny Smith Model. Top of the line for Gibson. The Johnny Smith shares specs with both the L5 and the Super 400. 17” lower bout. Fully carved and super responsive. The Johnny Smith model also sets itself apart for its X brace pattern, giving the guitar extra volume and acoustic depth. We got this from a gentleman who has owned it for the last 40 years and it has spent most of that time in the case. Some tarnish on the hardware and Pickguard. These old Pickguard give off gasses as they age which cause the hardware to tarnish. Overall though, this one is in very good condition sho its age.
