The DOD DFX9 Digital Delay is a vintage digital delay pedal introduced in 1989 and was DOD's first compact-format digital delay. It offers up to 1000 milliseconds of delay time, multiple delay ranges, and a distinctive Infinite Repeat mode that can continuously loop a captured phrase. The pedal became popular for its warm early-digital character and straightforward controls, bridging the gap between analog-style echoes and longer digital delay capabilities.
