Gotta have it to get your Xanadu on!

In 2015, Gibson produced a limited run of only 25 *worldwide* signed/aged replicas of Lerxst's double-neck EDS-1275 he had acquired in 1976.

Used extensively from the Farewell to Kings tour in 1977 through 1983, then again 1991-1996, this is the most perfect recreation of the ICONIC guitar most well-known for Xanadu - with which Rush is opening their 2026 shows.

Gibson digitally scanned the neck so profiles are identical, then lightly aged to match the original finish.

While 100 total were made, only 25 were played, signed and numbered by Alex himself.

A handful went to Japan, another handful to Europe/UK, their home turf of Canada certainly got several... My guess is there's maybe 10 in the U.S. - and this is #2 overall!!! Rumor is that Alex has #1 himself...

Finally, this guitar purchased personally by me when brand new from Dave's Guitar Shop in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and has never even been played. Must still have his DNA on it - so clone your own Alex!
