Very limited run in 2005.
AA Fame Maple Plus top.
Gibson color is Black Cherry, but some call it Root Beer in certain light.
Looks spectacular with the factory gold hardware.
Factory non-pickguard (no holes)
Frets in great shape, light wear.
50's neck profile.
Plays wonderfully, low fast action as you would expect.
Pickup covers and bridge have some gold plating wear, see photos.
One obvious ding at back of headstock at high E.
Only a few other very super light dings from handling.
A little finish gloss fading where arm rests on body (yes I played this guitar).
Pickups: Burst Bucker Pro1 (Alnico V) / Burst Bucker Pro2 (Alnico V).
Original blank truss rod cover with "50's Neck" sticker included, along with gold Schaller strap locks & truss rod wrench.
Weight: 9lbs 12.2oz.
Original case somewhat rough on the outside, still fully functional with all latches and hinges operational.
If your looking for a Les Paul Standard but don't want the usual common finishes and want to stand out from the crowd, this guitar will do it.
