This fabulous (used) Martin D76 is for sale in our store.

The Martin D-76 Bicentennial Limited Edition was built in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States and stands as one of the most exclusive special models in Martin’s history. This strictly limited dreadnought is now a highly sought-after collector’s instrument, combining classic Martin craftsmanship with elaborate historical detailing.

The D-76 is based on the traditional dreadnought design and delivers the characteristic powerful Martin sound, featuring a deep bass foundation, clear highs, and a warm, woody midrange. Its solid-body construction provides impressive projection and long sustain, making it ideal for strumming, flatpicking, and singer-songwriter applications.

A defining feature of the D-76 is its high-quality construction using carefully selected tonewoods, along with its elaborate inlays and decorative elements that reflect the Bicentennial theme. Typical details include intricate engravings, special rosette designs, and exclusive serial number plates, all of which emphasize the instrument’s collector status.

The Martin D-76 Bicentennial Limited Edition is far more than just a dreadnought guitar, it is a historic collector’s piece and a sonically outstanding instrument from one of the most significant special series ever produced by Martin.
