This 1997 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass features a 2-piece alder body in Fender's classic black finish. During the 1990's, Fender was pairing the American Standard line with a pretty slim "C' neck profile, and this particular neck has a nut width of 1.51" with a fair amount of shoulder that begins to taper out starting at the 5th fret. The maple neck has a good amount of wave in the grain that helps compliment the tapered neck profile. This 1997 American Standard Jazz bass is in very good condition. The body shows dings, dents, and scratches across. Please send a message with any questions or to request more photos.
