Spector continues its tradition of forging sleek, ultramodern basses with the Euro RST 4-string bass. The Euro RST's sculpted body is built from a richly figured flame maple top and a welterweight empresswood back. Together with its 3-piece roasted maple through-neck, the Euro RST delivers big-time tone and feel along with stability to survive and thrive on the road. A soft satin finish from head to toe causes the figuring in these woods to practically glow under lights. Under the hood, the Spector Euro RST's advanced electronics give you the control to sculpt your tone for stage and studio. A set of Aguilar Super Double soapbar pickups, fed by an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp, gives you crushing lows, cutting mids, and a sparkling top end to master any style of music presented before you. A neck built from three pieces of roasted maple — so called for its moisture-zapping heat treatment and so built for its incredible stability — delivers a tonally and visually distinctive playing experience in the Spector Euro RST bass guitar from Sweetwater. The Euro RST neck-through construction delivers gut-rumbling sustain and the type of stability touring bassists could set their watch to. The Euro RST's sculpted signature Euro body is comprised of a highly figured flame maple top and a lightweight empresswood back. These woods more than give this bass a distinctive tone. They're also enriched with a soft matte finish to cause the natural figuring to practically glow under stage lights. Aguilar's Super Double bass pickups offer up a thick, growling tone in the Spector Euro RST while never losing the nuance and articulation you demand. Their exceptional string-to-string balance has made them a favorite among gigging bass players at Sweetwater. These Super Double pickups offer incredible richness and depth, all while canceling the troublesome hum that can plague single-coil designs. An onboard Aguilar OBP-2 active preamp with +18dB of added 40Hz thump and +16dB of tasty 6.5kHz twang tailors your Euro RST to just about any musical setting, from jazz to metal. If you’ve always craved a Spector NS bass, but found them to be out of your budget, you’ll dig the Euro Series. These basses are essentially production versions of those coveted instruments, with the same sleek carved bodies as their US-made cousins. Euro Series basses were handcrafted in the Czech Republic using top-shelf tonewoods from the United States and Europe — you’ll love the natural resonance and tone of these instruments. What’s more, you get graphite-reinforced truss rods, premium pickups, and powerful active preamps. The Euro Series continues Stuart Spector’s decades-long tradition of innovation. Features:
