The Les Paul Standard 50s Mahogany Top retains the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 50s Mahogany Top has a solid mahogany body with a mahogany top replacing the usual maple top. This is similar to some Les Paul Customs, many of which also feature all-mahogany bodies, and it results in a slightly warmer, more midrange-focused tone. Everything else you love about the Les Paul Standard 50s remains the same, including the mahogany neck with a rounded, 50s Vintage profile with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's also equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and black Top Hat knobs. The Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors. A hardshell case completes the package.
Main Feature 2 Headline
Delivering a tone that is focused, articulate, and deep, the Prelude Port OM makes you sound great. The great tone is thanks to the right combination of classic guitar building with a touch of tech. The slightly smaller size of the vintage OM body shape is comfortable and contributes to the instrument's focus. Michael Kelly's Port Technology, with its offset soundhole delivers the added projection and bigger tone. Add to that the solid spruce top and special bracing and this guitar delivers on sound.
Main Feature 3 Headline
With a stable and reliable Floyd Rose Special tremolo system, you can dive-bomb and perform pitch bends with confidence. This locking tremolo ensures your tuning remains intact, even during the most aggressive performances. Experience freedom in your playing without the worry of losing your sound.
