Tired of lugging around your acoustic guitar to every single gig or to the recording studio along with all your other gear? Look no further because the Boss AC-3 Acoustic Guitar Simulator gives you the sounds of four different world class acoustic guitars at the twist of a knob.  The AC-3's incredibly realistic acoustic guitar  modeling is made possible by Boss' COSM modeling technology that instantaneously turns your electric guitar into a variety of high-end acoustics. The AC-3 allows you to switch from a crunchy lead to a clean beautiful acoustic instrument without the hassel of having to switch instruments.

The AC-3 offers 4 different modes which include standard, jumbo, enhance and piezo. The standard mode recreates the sound of a classic dreadnaught- style acoustic guitar which is ideal for fingerpicked arpeggios. The jumbo mode gives your guitar powerful sound and resonance that you would get with a big-bodied guitar which is perfect for strumming chords. The enhance mode allows the top-end to shine through and the piezo mode which supplies that "cut through the mix" direct piezo sound.

Top and Body controls of the AC-3 are provided for precise tonal shaping of the four acoustic models. The body control knob enables you to adjust the resonance of the acoustic guitar while the top control knob allows for adjustment of the sounds that would typically be picked up by condessor mic. The AC-3 with its onboard reverb can add depth and sweetness to your already amazing acoustic guitar sound.

The AC-3 comes equipped with 2 sets of outputs for connecting the AC-3 to a standard guitar amp and to a direct input device such as a PA, recorder, or an acoustic-guitar amp configuration such as a Roland AC-60.
